As a final-year PhD researcher, my academic work explores memoir as a genre and writing as a reflective and healing practice. My research focuses on life writing, trauma studies, and the use of second-person narrative as a literary and psychological device.

Art For Action Student Exhibition (2024)​

As part of Disability Awareness Week, I was proud to have my work included in the ‘Art for Action’ Student Exhibition. My piece was a visual poster designed with the hard-of-hearing in mind, featuring hand signs from Irish Sign Language spelling out the word “Inclusivity.”

My piece on hidden heritage was shortlisted for the Christy Nolan Creative Writing Competition.

Joint LAI/CILIP Conference (2025)

My lightning paper was accepted for presentation at the Joint LAI/CILIP Ireland Conference. Although I was unable to attend due to illness, I was honoured to have my work selected for the programme.
